Meet Our Passionate Teacher
Steve is a retired master teacher from the Fulton County Schools with a legacy spanning 43 years, where he molded young minds and inspired creativity. He honed his craft at Georgia Southern College as a TA, Brewton-Parker College, and The Light House. Steve's dedication to the arts earned him the prestigious title of Teacher of the Year in Art Production five times.
Armed with a BFA in Drawing and Painting and an MFA in Ceramics, Steve's talent shone brightly enough to be featured alongside Don Reitz's work during the '96 Olympics in Atlanta. Beyond the visual arts, Steve is also a skilled musician, playing and teaching both guitar and trumpet.
Today, Steve brings his dynamic approach to teaching art and art history to students of all ages—from elementary to adult. His larger-than-life art adventures captivate kids and adults alike, making every lesson an unforgettable journey into the world of creativity.
